My submission, by the skin of my teeth, for the dev apartment project [link] by
It's a fairly accurate idea of my bedroom - bed, desk, books and boxes, computer, backpack etc. What I don't have is blinds. I have a net curtain, which would defeat the purpose of the project.

The project is finished! Here is the linkie: [link]
The new stamp in my journal (my first one! Yay?) is my number for the apartment block. *tidies room*
Wow - your room is so neat! (in both slang and regular sense of the word) I love those bookshelves... they look so handy and less in-the-way than a regular bookcase.
I love the style of this room! It's so neat! And don't worry about it being finished so close to deadline. I won't be able to get started on my part of it for a few days, probably, so I'm not that concerned about it. I actually hope I'll get a few late ones!
It doesn't look quite a neat as this in real life! I tend to chuck clothes on the chair/boxes, and books pile up on the scanner.
We've always used shelves like this in our bedrooms, mainly because storage space is such an issue! Hint: when drilling holes for the brackets, make sure you don't do so directly above an electrical outlet in the wall. My dad did that once. He was blown across the room, but luckily survived and has put up many shelves since then.
A collection of the most beautiful and amazing square photographs I found among my favourites. Please have a look and give these artists the attention they deserve!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
